Boy eyes are soooooo amazing. The depth, colors, & details are all so intricate, precise, delicate… Go look in a mirror at your eyes. Seriously. Really look, don't just glance. Check out the different flecks of color, the pupil, the blood vessels in the sclera, & the tiny muscles embedded in the iris. Eyes are so crazy awesome!! I'm thankful for the gift of sight, & the ability to see, & create art. ;)

Gardening is about enjoying the smell 

of things growing in the soil,

marveling at God's creation & preservation of young plants,

about patience; working hard, being eaten by mosquitoes & getting dirty — 

feeling the sun's warmth on your bent back,

& generally taking the time to 

soak up a little peace & serenity.
